Mark 10:39-41

³⁹ They said to him, “We can.”

Then Jesus said to them, “The cup that I drink you shall indeed drink, and with the baptism with which I am baptized you shall be baptized. ⁴⁰ But to sit at my right hand or at my left is not in my power to grant. Those places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.”

⁴¹ When the other ten heard this, they began to be indignant at James and John.
